How much do you get for mediating my bank loan?

Our remuneration has been greatly influenced by a legal adjustment valid since 21 March 2016.

Mortgage specialists are remunerated equally for arranging a loan in any bank. Therefore, they will not try to prefer a loan in a particular bank, but they will offer you a solution that will be most convenient and adequate for you. The remuneration of a specialist depends on the loan amount and ranges from 0.8% to 1%, depending on experience (practice).

As we only deal with mortgage loan mediation, the total amount of commission paid by banks to Kamapro represents its only income. It can be easily checked from the tax return at www.finstat.sk.

It is important to mention what our mortgage specialists are remunerated for:

1. an essential part of being able to give good advice to our clients is constant education and tracking of changes on the mortgage market;
2. the mortgage mediation process can take between 2 and 100 hours, depending on the complexity of the particular case (it usually takes 20-30 hours). It is necessary to contact all banks and to find out specific conditions, to compare them, to complete the documents necessary for submitting a loan application, to visit the bank with the client in order to sign the application, to follow the process of processing and approving the application (completing the documentation), to secure signatures for contracts, extracts and deposit into the land register, to provide legal advice, if necessary.

In conclusion – the most important thing. The commission amount to be paid to the company by the bank. Kamapro is not mentioned in the conditions for the client (neither in terms of fees nor the interest rate). This means that, in terms of fees and the monthly repayment of the loan, it does not matter whether the client arranges the loan him- or herself in the bank or contacts our company.

How is it possible if the bank pays commission for the mediation? Our work replaces a large part of the work of the bank’s employees, so we save their time and the bank’s money on salaries, rent, etc.
